Story: Aftab has been raised by his solo mother, Mariam, and has no knowledge of the identity or whereabouts of his biological father. When Mariam is told that Ramakant Pandit is dying, she asks Aftab to accompany her to meet this dying man. She tells Aftab that Ramakant is his father, Aftab is angry, but he is pleased when he meets a humbled Ramakant, who is ready to touch Aftab's feet in forgiveness. Aftab embraces him, and not long after Ramakant passes away in Aftab's arms. Aftab then meets his step-brother, Dhananjay alias Jai, who hates his step-mother and step-brother, and will have nothing to do with them. Jai returns to his wife, Ragini, and his increasing financial problems, while Aftab returns to romancing beautiful Ruksana. Then Jai receives a phone call from Aftab, who needs to be bailed out, an angry Jai goes to meet Aftab, and then discovers Aftab's mother has been abducted, and only his involvement can save her...
